I work for a WISP in Minnesota and we are in need of a SDK developer for a handful of ubiquiti products. I was wondering where I need to post inquiries of the such.....?

Sorry I cant help with you needs but as a side note
I would be happy to host a UBNT developer forum on my server

if any of the skilled linux gurus would be interested in it
I think it would be great to have a pool of skilled developers
willing to work on such things and have the oppourtunity to
offer their services for such custom requirements

i dont call me linux guru but i do work wih the ubnt sdk... most work i did
was for my own wisp plus some others who asked me for .
I remember poeple sugested somewhere in a post to have a sdk related forum
section here but ubnt ignored it (gues they have there point why).
I now a few guys from here wich build own firmware forks with stuff like vlans
osfp and lot more improofments.
I think your idea to host a forum for this poeple is realy good.
Beside that my english is simply not good enogh to join such forum no mather
how skilled i am ore not

sam

my own firmware based on the sdk is nothing exiting only smal stuff
added a side whre you can watch clients-statut (selfreloading) added a direkt
link to the normaly hidden 'admin.cgi' and some smal other things what makes life easyer .I use this version for my wisp but i'm working already on a version
with some more goodys.

as for the post you mentioned i did some scripting just to test
how this could work . I posted the scripts if you intrested to
play with it http://forum.ubnt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10436
but they are only a first atemp and ugly too but they are working on a stock
Airos like 3.3.2 .
I will do some more work in this just to see how far we can get and if its does what i want i may integrate it in my custombuild.
Generally i tink there is not much interest in this .

i played a little more on this .

nothing super exiting as you can see but worth to do some more.
at the moment i can list all devices by a identnumber and alias
and get the status of the wireless part on a central server .

no question open-wrt is very flexible but dont forget it has also it's glitches and
it makes it not easyer for you.. that for shure.

How ever it lokks like i can get together what i want and thats enough before
it gets in a loop tread here.
