We are currently using a 2GhZ-5Mhz network powered by Mikrotik RouterOS. After doing some light research (making a few phone calls) I was informed the Ubiquity hardware is the only known hardware that has drivers capable of using 2Ghz-5Mhz on a desktop or laptop machine. This person having used a SRC, and assuming the SR71-USB did the same thing, we first tried a SR71-USB. Although as far as we know the drivers do not support 2GhZ-5Mhz.
Once again talking to this person (who is already not in good terms anymore) they exclaimed they had used a SRC, so... of course we picked on up at Wisp-Router, bought a PCMCIA - PCI adapter at Micro Center, and hooked it all up, and installing the Mobility Driver. Still no luck, we are unable to see the 2Ghz-5Mhz radio!
With much frustration we consulted the Ubiquity Support team, got little feedback, and pursued talking to them more, finding NO response! As a result I have turned to the good 'ole forums to look for some support in the matter.
Basically, I need to know if I have a wrong setting on the SRC driver, the MikroTik, or if I am just crazy, and can not make this work?
Thank You Much :)
