Thanx Much Mike
I can see this will come in very handy for some of those
difficult to solve situations

I do have a question / feature request though

Is it possible that say a bullet could do this task
accesable from a web gui and have no other job
but be a spectrum analyser

I could see a major benifit to say leaving a spectrum analyser
bullet with a 8dbi omni on the top of my tower so
that I could continually monitor adapt and survive in
the competative enviourment that I am in

This would be a HUGE feature for me

Please say it is possible

One of those small microcomputer boards with a USB interface...mount the whole thing up in the tower with your AP.

Things that make you ponder at night....

Hehe WHT I was already pondering how I could do that
before I even posted but it would be a pain in the ****
plus need an AirView EXt and a adapter cable to attach a higher gain antenna

A direct plug and play BulletView (TM pending lol)
would kick butt
Id put one on every tower no question
(so I'll take 32 please)

Thanks Mike
I'll be eager to hear what Robert thinks of that one

Well....following up on Mike's question,
When do we get to the the UBNT logo branded on Bullet?and how Mike said he has a doggie jacket for his dog...and how I suggested advertising...

and UBNT coffee cups....I think we're on to something.

What is the temperature range for the Airview? I've tried looking online, but couldn't find the info.

Thanks,

Jason

Roughly the same as a laptop. It is not designed for extreme temps.

Thanks,

Mike

You could try Airview with one of those USB over IP devices...
[edit]
Or, roll your own using omnima $31 board and openwrt with usbip package.

I was thinking the same thing last week with the Arduino device.

I doubt the airview would survive up here in the true north
a bullet view would though :)

WHT I have been laughing at the poodle pic privately for awhile now
so I thought I better share why with you

its my real dog shes not much bigger than a large post card
(full grown) so shes no good for advertising nothing much fits lol
but she does need a jacket up here
second pic is to give you an idea how small she really is
