Can I plug Xr2 card to my desktop pc???
Is it need special computer???
what is the best antenna supplied to this card to provide 30 Km coverage with some obstructions?????
Oww.not a good idea.
The XR2 won't fit in a standard PCMIA or Express Card "PCI to PCMCIA" for a desktop's PCI buss.
Even if you used one one fo the Mobility/Portable cards that would fit in a laptop's card slot or the above mentioned PCI to PCMCIA card, you would have excessive coax cable loss that connects to the outdoor antenna.
A 30 KM path needs to have a clear line of sight...if you don't have that, stop now and go no further with the project.
Also, you'll need to be somewhere in the neighborhood of a 10 meter mast or antenna height at both ends, assuming there is NOTHING in between the two points.
