I am looking at applying for a license to use the 3.65-3.7GHz frequency and have a couple of questions. Hopefully, someone out there has the answers.
1. If you are using the frequency as a P2P link do you have to register one of the sides as a base station?
2. I can find sector and panel antennas for this frequency, but what are people doing for P2P links? All of the specs that I have looked at fall short. The 3.5GHz antennas upper limit is 3.65GHz, I'm assuming that the 3.5GHz antennas will work, but in a somewhat degraded fashion.

There are some grid dishes and solid dishes for 3.65 stuff. You will have to register each location. There is not base station registration, just each side of the link needs to be registered as a location.

Thanks Slipstream1,
I appreciate your reply. Can you tell me who makes the antennas?

We went to great lengths to have an antenna built for this frequency.

Isn't part of the 3.4-3.7Ghz spectrum unlicensed? Why would you buy a license for it when the other half is unlicensed? I'd at least try the unlicensed side first, probably a 99% chance no one is using it. Everyone I've talked to say's they haven't even heard of an unlicensed 3Ghz. Did this just come out? Check out streakwave's unlicensed 3.4-3.7Ghz card.
