OK.....
So, I recently became aware that 5.4ghz-5.7ghz were released for unlicensed public consumption.... ??
I only knew about 5100-5200mhz, 5200-5300mhz and 5700-5800mhz sections.
seems there is a little info here: http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/FCC-06-12A1.pdf
Also seems that with the default or US country code that the XR5 does not show these frequency's, but after changing them around they show up.
If anyone has any legal info and/or the FCC regs about this I would love that info. Just kinda hit me like a Mac truck today and I wanna learn more :)
*EDIT*
Another interesting file from the FCC... http://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/presentations/files/oct07/Oct_07-Basics_of_Unlicensed_Trans-JD.pdf
Thanks much,
