Mike,
Is it possible to purchase the new LS2's without the RS232 connector on the side of it? Size is critically important in our application of the LS2's and that connector inhibits the mounting of the board in our enclosure. Or can we solder the connector off and still maintain the warrenty? We would prefer to just not have it on. If not, is there a quantity number we need to order to get it in the form we need it?

Hello Geolt,

You can remove the connector off the board and I will honor the warranty. But when doing this please keep a MAC list of every board. I can verify weatheror not it was the soldering or somethign else that damaged your board.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,
Thank you very much for the warrenty exception. We will exercise this option in the coming weeks as we are soon to be moving over to our new enclosure very soon.
Is it an option to buy them in bulk from you or a reseller without the labor of unsoldering them? We currently are only going thru about 10-15 a month but hope to increase it with the new enclosure to 20-25 a month. If all goes well we may be able to buy them in bulk for the year if necessary.
Thanks,
-Geo

Hello Geo,

Unfortunatly for that few unit it would not be something we can do. I will honor our warranty though if you guys unsolder them

Thanks,

Mike
