Hi,
I was testing the XR3 cards. The goal was to achieve throughput more/less 35Mbit FDX on 22km link. The testing board was 2 RB433AH with MTI dual polarization antennas (panel).
The first problem was that 2 cards inside the alubox did not work in MikroTik's nstreme-dual. In single link it was about 25Mbit in FDX (5GHz-turbo) each polarization but in ns2 both cards negotiated at 6Mbit and throughput was at about 2Mbit FDX. The same with bonding. Lowering power did not fixed this problem.
The second problem occurred after installation of the devices (height: 70m one side, 30m the other side, distance 22km). Measured throughput was 22Mbit FDX (previous tests was made "on the desk") but what was/is the most interesting is the fact that the cards do not negotiate at 36Mbit (or more). Even if so for a few seconds, the speed lovers to 17-18Mbit FDX. The CCQ is also strangely low - 50 to 60% all the time (full fresnel). Did anyone have similar problems?
I'm going to investigate this problems and will provide some relations.
Regards
Tom
