With the XR9 it looks like this:
I just Spoke with Mike in Support Today about My SR9's
I have looked all over for a 2.4 ghz Channel to 900 Mhz Channel Map..
He Told me the mapping..
3 2422 <-> 922 Channel Widths 5, 10Mhz
4 2427 <-> 917 Channel Widths 5, 10, 20Mhz
5 2432 <-> 912 Channel Widths 5, 10, 20Mhz
6 2437 <-> 907 Channel Widths 5, 10Mhz

But i need it for XR1 and XR7.

Ummm...I have never heard of a "channel" list for bands that the XR1 and XR7 use. Here's my take on it all, i.e I'm open to a better explanation.
Channel lists are only convenient conversions to actual frequencies. Can you imagine a common consumer trying to set up his Linksys wireless router, much less clueless brain dead manager trying to connect his laptop to 2,425 MHz?
The VHF spectrum for MURS radio uses "color dots" in lieu of frequencies.
The VHF frequencies for the XR1 would be expressed in MHZ, i.e 180.250 MHz.
As for the 700 MHz band...Very likely it will follow the TV station channel list convention after the TV stations have vacated that band.
I could be wrong or out of date. Any better explanation out there?

XR7:
Channel 4 - 763Mhz - 5Mhz
Channel 5 - 768 Mhz - 5/10/20Mhz
Channel 6 - 773 Mhz - 5/10/20Mhz
Channel 7 -778Mhz - 5Mhz
For XR1 I will have to get back to you.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm still waiting on what cards support the unlicensed 5.4Ghz-5.8Ghz band. I know 5.4Ghz was recently "unlocked". Does the XR5 support 5.4?

Hello,
XR5 does support this band, but its up to the software you use to provide the neccessary DFS/TPC support
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks Mike, we plan on using a Mikrotik Routerboard, like RB333 or RB433. Should be fine, right? Also, does is cap your TX power down like Trango does in the 5.4 area? Or do you still get full TX?

Hello,
Yes it will support the band, but will not be in FCC compliance. With the MirkoTik you get full TX power.
Thanks,
Mike

Correction, RouterOS does support TPC (Transmit Power Control) but not ATPC (Auto Transmit Power Control) you must set the "Antenna Gain" and switch your "Frequency Mode" to "regulatory domain" to enable TPC. However, to my understanding, using it with 5.4-5.8ghz it is still not FCC compliant because they have not certified their DFS2 feature yet.
Does the UBNT Routerboard support ATPC and DFS2?
If so that would be a great option for full FCC compliance+Mikrotik Features; to link bridged Ubiquiti routerboards with XR5(s) into Mikrotik boards.
XR7:
Channel 4 - 763Mhz - 5Mhz
Channel 5 - 768 Mhz - 5/10/20Mhz
Channel 6 - 773 Mhz - 5/10/20Mhz
Channel 7 -778Mhz - 5Mhz

Ah got it. Forwarded it to the hardware guys to get me this info.
Thanks,
Mike
Can you try to get in hold of the hardware guys?
Rumors say that it is all the 802.11b/g spectra -2200Mhz, can anyone confirm this?

Hey Guys,
The conversion is -2200Mhz from 2.4Ghz.
Thanks,
How about the channel width? and does it include all 13-14 channels from 2.4ghz?
The info paper that comes with the card, can't it be scanned and mailed?

Mike, is this card considered to be in the new "white space" frequencies that are being released as unlicensed for broadband? I talked with our Motorola Rep for Canopy and he said Motorola is already testing OFDM equipment on lower white space frequencies, perhaps below 300Mhz.

Hello,
No this card is not for the whitespaces. The FCC still has not finalized the whitespaces (rules/limits/uses) enough to even considering making cards like this for the US. As far as I am aware there are a lot of big companies buying this spectrum up.
Thanks,
Mike

I need the information to apply for a license to use the area...
I don't want to buy a 117 cards just to find out, that i can't use the area!
