I can not connect to my NS2 wireless by my laptop but can connect by my mobile [Sony Ericsson P990i]

My network configuration as follow : Router -> Security Gateway -> NS2 -> TP-Link WL-WA501G

DHCP are disable on all devices except on the security Gateway.

NS2 mode Bridge & Access point WDS

My Mobile only can connect to NS2 wireless why??

I need help to sove this problem ASAP.

Is your laptop set for static IP?

No, I configure my laptop to get IP auto from DHCP.

The main problem that no pc or laptop can connect to NS2 wireless, so what I can do ????

I'd start working backwards to narrow the scope of the issue. You have too many variables to contend with.

Router -> Security Gateway -> NS2 -> TP-Link WL-WA501G

Router -> laptop
Router -> Security Gateway -> laptop
Router -> Security Gateway -> NS2 -> laptop
Router -> Security Gateway -> NS2 ~> (wireless) laptop

The problem solved partly after upgrade the firmware to 3.3.1 but a new problem appeared

My mobile connect to the network but can not open the internet
My laptop connect to the network & open the internet but it get ip out of my security gateway DHCP range, I do not know how.

I setup the NS2 to Bridge and Access point WDS but I think it still give the laptop IP.

My network configuration as follow :

Router --> Security Gateway --> NS2 ---> Wireless to my laptop

and TP-Link access point WDS from NS2

but it get ip out of my security gateway DHCP range, I do not know how. Sounds like your security gateway is acting like a router. Didn't you want it as a passive bridge?

Thanks for help problem solved after rest NS2 to default then reconfigure it.

The security Gateway act as DHCP Server.
