The questión here is, how many client can connect to a XR2? How is the formula?

a) It depend in the procesor of the routerboard or PC where the XR2 is install?

b) It depend in the bandwith delivery per client? Ex: we can have 200 users of 128 kbps (25mbps/200 = 128 kbps) per each XR2?

c) Something else to consider?

Suppose (only for inspire you 8) ):
1) The client will be NS2.4 and NSL2.4
2) You can use a PC (intel, amd, etc) with one port miniPCI to PCI, something like a CPU INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q8200 or similar (as you wish)
3) Memory DDR2 667Mhtz (all you want)

eternally grateful!

(Sorry by my english)

UBNT has fantastic products, but for 200 active users per access point...you may need a $2,500 (?$) product like a SkyPilot that can support that many users. Of course, you can run multiple UBNT radios from two or more tower sites.

What is the max recommended cpe for xr2 radio card is it around 35 similiar to other legacy devices such as bullet2hp and is it based on total throughput or max associations what about other resources such as cpu and memory we currently run routerboard 400 series with xr2 radio card.
