I might be interested in the 900 MHz version at some time in the future as my MetaGeek http://metageek.net/products/wi-spy-dbx USB Spectrum Analyzer only does 2.4/5.8.

Woah!...$39 ain't too shabby.

Even if it has the casual use specs like the Metageek Wi-Spy v1 with 1 MHz resolution, -97 dBm sensitivity, and 1.5 dBm resolution which goes for $200.

1) It's a good idea to activate a Wiki Section in UBNT Forum?

wow...fast replies.. :-)
I already own the wi-spy V1, and the 2.4x with detachable antenna.
Very usefull, but you have to be there at the right time to troubleshoot.
I wonder if this unit could be built-in the Ubiquiti router ?

Yeah I'm a Mac user. Did you need something in particular?

Macbook Pro 2.16 Core Duo, OS X 10.5.6, 2GB.
Powerbook G4 1.25, OS X 10.5.6, 2GB.

Just waiting for the Airview 9 EXT to come out. Microcom has already posted pricing but says 4-6 weeks for availability.

Just in case people wanted to see pricing, looks like 34.95 for the Airview2, 69.95 for Airview2-EXT, 69.95 for Airview9, and 94.95 for Airview9-EXT.

I have a MacBook Pro, 2.2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, running 10.5.6.

Ok, good to know that at least you folks with Macs are at the latest 10.5 release, 10.5.6, because the Java 6 JRE doesn't seem to be available for any version of OS X below that.

I tried the software, and it loads, but I get the message "No device found" (as I lack an AirView), so I can't play with it anymore beyond that.
Yes, as WHT said, this is a hardware/software product. The software is of no use without the accompanying USB device.

I knew it wouldn't work beyond that, just wanted to let you know that it launched and loaded. (I've had some issues with java apps not launching properly due to a really obscure bug that Apple seems to refuse to fix.)

Hi Guys,

The Airview2's have started shipping. USA customers can get in touch with Streakwave or Microcom for purchase.

The Pico's have been shipping for some time and should be available through the standard distribution partners. The Pico2HP has not started shipping, but the Pico2 and Pico5 should be available in the channel.

Hit me up - ben.moore@ubnt.com if there are questions as to who has the products internationally.

Thanks,
