This week I learned how to connect properly a TTL2RS232 module, how to setup the serial port, how to use the console on hyperterminal, how to enter RedBoot, how to stop the booting proces, how to use fconfig, how to use urecovery, and that a broken UTP cable can be fooling by days and make you thing that the RS board is briked ;-).
I used fconfig to wrote the second line as explained in other thread, then I flashed the firmware indicated in the sticky post. Then I followed the indications in the wiki to have it working. Basically, I configured the etc/config/network and etc/config/system, reboot, then opkg update, opkg upgrade, and reboot again. All downloads and processes worked fine. I realized that fconfig was changed again and I rewrote it.
I know that I need USB storage, so I treated to follow the instructions in http://wiki.openwrt.org/UsbStorageHowto, but I realized that some packages are yet installed, and only uhci is missing

I used fconfig to wrote the second line as explained in other thread, then I flashed the firmware indicated in the sticky post. Then I followed the indications in the wiki to have it working. Basically, I configured the etc/config/network and etc/config/system, reboot, then opkg update, opkg upgrade, and reboot again. All downloads and processes worked fine. I realized that fconfig was changed again and I rewrote it.
I know that I need USB storage, so I treated to follow the instructions in http://wiki.openwrt.org/UsbStorageHowto, but I realized that some packages are yet installed, and only uhci is missing
