I have read a few posts on the XR3's .... (read one from member 'Dallas' - Thx for posting that)..
Would like to get some more feedback on the stability & throughput of the links, both on PtP & PtmP scenarios. Pls mention brief specifics of the hardware & software (OS) used.
Thx for ur time ...

We have 9 sectors up and one omni so far, and it seems to work pretty good. There are issues I'm having with radios that won't connect till they are turned off for like 5 minutes and some other odd things that happen, but overall they are pretty good. We have Mikrotik 411a's for AP's, 411's for clients. We are using Hyperlink 120 degree sectors and arc wireless enclosures with 18db antennas.
Throughput varies depending on rssi. I don't set anyone above 2mb. I can get up to 6 with a good signal, and more with nstreme turned on, but had issues with nstreme, so I don't have it running anywhere. At my house, with no bandwidth limiting, I only get about 3 mb max, but I'm going through trees.
We have quite a few Waverider 900 and this seems to work almost as good as that through the trees. Not quite. I'll know more in the summer when we find out how any installs won't work anymore when the leaves come out.
Let me know if you have other questions, the more people use this, the more will be developed for it and hopefully the price will go down and maybe we can talk UBNT to create a 3.7 nano.

I'd really be interested in a 3.7 BULLET!

Tom
thx for sharing the information...
Have you tested the link distance ...? How far could it go before signal gets unusable ?
And have u tested throughput on a PtP link ? 6 mbps is not enough for using as a backhaul.
Thx.

I'm not sure the farthest distance, a few miles I think. I'm also using 5mhz channels to give me 3 non-overlapping frequencies, so the throughput is going to be much less. I haven't done any ptp with these yet.
