I want to know if the RouterStations is compatible with Mini-PCI EMP-8602 Plus-S by Engenius.

I already have 2 XtremeRange2 but I would add this other EMP-8602 Plus-S.

Our mini-PCI slots are standard. You should ask this question of the OpenWRT OS forum or the manufacturer of the card.

It seems to work fine for me. The only thing I see, is I can't set TX power over 18dbm.

Hello,

Please note the ineternal offset of XR9 wich is 10 dB. When setting the TX power of the OpenWRT driver, please add 10dB to the final value to achieve the desired output. 17dB + 10dB = 27dB.

Engineus EMP-8602 (Atheros 5414) is supported by madwifi driver. As long as your RouterStation is running madwifi driver, then of course it can work with this card.

Sure, the OS pre-installed inside the RouterStation can support this card. If you install OpenWRT inside the RouterStation by enabling madwifi, sure it can support this card.
