I have been trying to get the WDS mode to work using the /etc/config/wireless file. I have not had any luck. I was able to configure a link manually using :

iwpriv ath0 wds_add xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
brctl addif br-lan ath0.wds0
ifconfig ath0.wds0 up

but I don't think this is the correct way to set this up.

I did try adding a separate config wifi-iface section with the WDS settings, but that did not work.

Does anyone have any info on getting this to work?

You should check the OpenWRT forums and/or post the request to Kamikaze developers. It may not exist yet in Kamikaze's configuration scripts. In that case, writing your own is a good way to go - and submit it back to them, perhaps.

Hi
I don't wan't to start new topic so I'm writing here.
I have problem with WDS setup. Two routerstation are connected in ap--station mode, but don't want to work in WDS mode. I have one R52 card in each device. /etc/config/wireless looks like that:
config wifi-device wifi0
option country pl
option txpower 10
option type atheros
option channel 104
option distance 2500
option hwmode 11a

config wifi-iface
option device wifi0
option network lan
option mode wds
option ssid most
option encryption none
option bssid xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
In fact bssids are different in each device. What could be a problem?
