This feature is present in some managed switches. We could add static MAC entries to a NanoStation. For example:
MAC 00:11:22:33:44:55 statically added as being on WLAN interface.
MAC aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff statically added as being on LAN interface.
This could help us avoid arp spoofing attacks. Let's suppose a WISP has 3 Nanos on its roof, working as APs. This WISP could add its server's address statically, so, malicious users could do an arp spoofing using the server's address.
So, what you guys think about it?
