Hello, I just purchased a SRX for my dell m140. I loaded the software, and it asked me to insert the card to install the driver, so I did...it said the card was still not plugged in, even when it was....the installation continued anyway, then had me install the driver manually which it did fine. The card then turned on for about 5 seconds then quickly disappeared from the device manager and all like it was never there even though it is still plugged in. I then follow the steps to remove the card....wait a few minutes, install the card again...the card kicks on...than about 5 seconds later shuts down and disappears again.

any ideas on what the problem could be? I searched the board but did not find an answer.

thanks,

htrdfrk

Hello,

Please send an email to support@ubnt.com so that I can provide the latest firmware for you.

Also in the meantime do you have another system to test on?

Thanks

Mike

Thanks for the replay Mike.

Yes I have tested it on another machine with the same results. I have also exhausted the troubleshooting guide off the Ubiquiti site, with the same results.

I have sent the email you requested.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have the exact same problem. I know the card is fine since it works in Linux. But in XP its just doesn't work at all. There is no errors or anything. Not even in the event log. The card gets detected and installation of the driver goes without a hitch. But the UCU dont see the device nor does the Device Manager under Network Adapters. Tried the latest driver from your website as well. Could this be a firmware issue?

HELP!!

Has anyone found a solution for this? I emailed the support email but have not heard anything. I am trying to use this card with other software but it keeps telling me to insert the card since the system won't recognize it.

Thanks!
