It would be very good to have data rate option just like in mikrotik.

Hi,
like this:
"basic-rates-a/g (multiple choice: 6Mbps, 9Mbps, 12Mbps, 18Mbps, 24Mbps, 36Mbps, 48Mbps, 54Mbps; default: 6Mbps) - basic rates in 802.11a or 802.11g standard. This should be the minimal speed all the wireless network nodes support (they will not be able to connect otherwise). It is recommended to leave this as default
basic-rates-b (multiple choice: 1Mbps, 2Mbps, 5.5Mbps, 11Mbps; default: 1Mbps) - basic rates in 802.11b mode. This should be the minimal speed all the wireless network nodes support (they will not be ableto connect otherwise). It is recommended to leave this as default"
In this way we can isolate nodes/users with very bad signal and increase speed to others. Alsow we can leave open access to AP without wory are they any new nodes with bad signal.
Best regards,

Thanks for providing me the link, but everything there only Canada. I will try to seach some more.Anyway thanks!
Hi, sorry, but I don't think that multiple rate multi selection will be useful. Ok - say you specify on AP, that it should support for example 48 and 54 rates only. The Client with somewhat bad signal still can(try to) connect - maybe much harder - but it will, and after that it will decrease speed for others...

basic-rate is minimal speed which user must have to connect to AP.
basic-rate is minimal speed which user must have to connect to AP. I think "have" should be changed by "support"...
But to be honest, I'll better look for some addition information about that.
