You put the channels on non IEEE channels.

You realize, of course, that Star-OS for instance, can ONLY use 5765. Not 5770 since it is NOT a standard channel for 11a.

Why is this?

Hello Neo,

This is supported fully by MikroTik and MadWiFi at this time. Has StarOS not implemented a superchannel mode?

They're working on it... But they were quite surprised to see someone try to require non-standard channel assignemnts. Now, for narrow channels, we have all frequencies available, but not for the 20 mhz... You tune your cards using standard 11a "appearing" cards, so they're expected to be... 11a.

While I"m at this, is there any kind of EIRP increase allowed for 20 mhz channels? The rules appear to do this... can we do it IRL?
