Hi

I am using ubuiquity radio driver for linux with SR5.
It seems that the driver does not limit the Tx Power.
I can configure power levels that are way above the limits of the card and not get any error.
Is the power internally clamped by the driver, and if so at what level (i.e. based on regulatory domain or just card capability)?

Thanks

Anyone at ubiquity care to comment on this?

Hello,

The EEPROM of the radio card will not let the unit exceed maximum power. You may be able to set it in the driver this way, but the card will remain at 26dBM. I still would not recommend going over the max TX power though .

Thanks,

Mike
