Which of the Ubiquiti products would work best for an access point to cover the pictured area?

The red dots indicate where the current outdoor APs are located, but are some cheap no-name variety and do not work very good. The green boxes indicate the buildings I wish to cover.

The current device works only if the client is in direct line of sight with the AP. ie. on the same side of building by a window. I would like to be able to cover both sides of the buildings.

Regardless of the brand of AP, radio waves need a clear line of sight. I could suggest a Powerstation2 with an omni antenna, but I think your best bet is to use a bunch of Loco radios shooting lengthwise down each side of the buildings and one Nano. Also by using more APs, you reduce the loading on each AP which is a 30 to 35 limit.

So for the 2 "Backbone" connections to the wired network (red dots) should I just use a loco station also or would the Powerstation be better suited? Those locations are rather fixed. Right now I'm looking to put in the backbone part and the branch out to the locos in phases as coverage is needed.

Another question. Chances are this isn't possible without line of sight. Do you think it would be possible to get a connection over to these other 2 buildings via a 5ghz backhaul? The signal would have to originate from the red dot for now.

That's funny...I did indeed think of a backhaul connecting the two complexes, but figured you had DSL in each one. But yes, I would use a pair of Loco 5 radios for the backhaul.
