hi all,

this is my first topic in this forum. it is cool to be here.

Currently, i am planning to setup a demo wireless hotspot in a big apartment.

the plan is:
.Router Station
.802.11b/g/n MIMO Hi-Power mini-PCI Radio +Omni Antenna to cover 200m around the access point
.SuperRange2 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g mini-PCI module+2.4 GHz 11 dBi Spatial Diversity Antenna - 3ft RP-SMA Plug Connector to cover those bad signal location

is it good enough? do you have any advise?

if the demo system is success, the wireless hotspot will be implement in the whole city with Ubnt product.

Just make sure you have the potential customer base there. Like rconaway once said about a company that did a $10,000 per square mile deployment and only had 12 subscribers.

Just make sure you have the money. Look at what some other companies spent (and eventually folded).

Chicago - 220 square miles, 7,500 access points, $18.5 Million
Google's Mountain View - 12 square miles, 400 access points.
Houston - 640 square miles, $50 Million
Corpus Christi - 147 square miles, $7.1 Million
