Hey guys, got an MSI 945GM2 mini-itx motherboard with a PCI-to-PCMCIA adapter in the pci slot. When I install the SRC along with Mobility 7.7 drivers, it shows up under "Network Connections", but it is disabled and will NOT enable. I have tried 2 brand new SRC units and they both exhibit the same symptoms. Thinking it might not have been the cards, I installed a Dell 1350 PCMCIA wireless card, installed the drivers, and that works perfectly. Any ideas?

Hey Rockbochs,

Its possible that the PCI port on that motherboard you are using does not have enough power to supply the card so it cannot be enabled. Also can you try a different laptop?

Thanks,

I had a hunch that might be it. The strange part is, it works perfectly in a Jetway with an addon pcmcia card such as this: http://linuxdevices.com/files/misc/mini-box_mx00_with_pc-cf_mod.jpg

Is there any recourse, or should I look for a different pcmcia adapter?
