This new SR71USB product looks very promising, especially for all of my Linux-powered portable devices that have a USB host controller but no other interface compatible with other Ubiquiti products. I have a few basic questions that either UBNT staff or other forum members could possibly answer for me:
Is the SR71USB supported by the UBNT HAL with madwifi-dfs patches? (madwifi seems to claim absolutely no support for any USB Atheros device whatsoever on their wiki. [1])
Will the SR71USB work on my XScale PXA 270 palmtop device? (Zaurus SL-C3200 specifically; I notice HALs built for ARM, MIPS, x86(_64), but I figure I'd pose the question just in case someone else has had troubles or success)
If the SR71USB isn't currently supported with madwifi-dfs (or any other branch,) what drivers under Linux will support it and what capabilities will these drivers have?
Will the SR71USB work with "full speed" (12MBit/v1.1) host controller interface? Will it work if the port doesn't support 500mA of current draw (say, 100mA or so?)
Thanks,
- Devin
