for those that have a UBIQUITI PS2-EXT POWERSTATION2 in use...
How are you sealing your connecters, Do you find the design of the unit prevents you from adiquitely sealing the external connector, If not please elaborate on how you are sealing this connection against the weather.

From one of the ubiquity staff.
The PS2-EXT's antenna connector is best sealed with self almalgamating tape or silcone.
To specifically answer your question, I would say yes...the design is difficult to properly seal the connector. I never had a Powerstation, but it obvious in the pictures.

Yea I seal the connectors using duct puddy with black electrical tape to protect against every weather imaginable but the design of the unit makes it really hard to properly seal it, has anyone had them apart?, is the plug itself sealed from the inside out or is it just a nut and a washer?....
in response to using silicone, I have found that it is great for sealing holes in houses but lousy for sealing connectors that need to be changed when equipment is upgraded, and does not always do a very good job at protecting against moisture....
