I have an enclosure with a built in 5ghz antenna. This is to be hooked up to the LS5.

I would also like to put in an LS2 and have this connected to an OMNI antenna.

Next both the LS2 and LS5 need to be connected without using a switch. Is this possible?

Possible yes
But it would require soldering/spliting off the power wires to power the second unit and daisy chaining off the LS2s secondary ethernet port (this port can not take POE power so care must be taken to ensure that NO power is sent through it ect ...

the simplest way would be to use two separate cat5 runs one for each
LS and then use a small jumper cat5 to connect each POEs LAN port
together at the bottom or (into a switch if there are to be more than two radios at this site)
This will keep each unit with a separate power supply and ensure both get proper power and separate surge protectors as well but the surge protectors could be integrated into the case... if you wanted to

I have been testing a vampire tap setup with two LS2s for about six months with no issues.

18V Passive POE to LS2#1
DC jumper cable from LS2#1 to LS2#2 from DC jack to DC jack
ethernet cable from port2 of LS2#1 to port 2 of LS2 #2. Not sure what ports the LS5 has.

This setup is most likely not approved by UBNT. Do it at your own risk. That being said, I have been performing cold dual reboots, and maxing out throughput on both radios to try to push up power consumption up with no issues.
