ebox control panel

has anyone heard of this?

Just after a few reads on the forums it kinda sounds like what dragonflys saying in this post http://forum.ubnt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2961

It's hard to describe but from memory it had everything the wisp i had worked with, needed to run their systems. (mikrotik based network)

Clients could change / make:

CPE ethernet settings
CPE DHCP settings
VPNs
Firewall
CPE DNS server settings
Port and protocol forwarding
CPE Shutdown and restart
ISP Services
Domain / Email / Alias provisioning through limited cPanel integration
Application of content filtering services

I'm thinking backend scripting with something from Router OS.

But in their administration panel, that i only got a few glimpse of... could let you configure everything.

rates
ip ranges / grouping
Site Databases (whats on site, add devices to site, click on devices to configure them.. so on)
add / edit customers
edit connection details/settings
usage monitoring
traffic graphs
provisioning
rate management
customer signal, latency and traffic preview per network access device
and more!

Then again it could be a custom made front end. But it looks to good of a system to be custom for a medium sized wisp...

And no, i seriously delt its that http://ebox-platform.com/ currently checking again...

Just anything, ideas? let me know!

Hi Sam, and others,

I just registered on this forum, i'm from the Netherlands, and i'm looking for an (almost complete) solution for managing wireless internet access in 9 hotels.

So, your message is already a few months old, have you tried the ebox solution yourself ?

Willing to share your experience with it ?

Regards Bart

it's not abled to the most things that you are mentioned .
simply because there is no real facility to comunicate
with cpe's and AP's vice and versa (what you will need if you want to centralice settings for cpe) also no way to implemet it because
it's closed stuff.

But the post is unrelated, FORGET EBOX for any networking stuff were trying to achieve.
