DNS server recommendation

Hi I want to make a DNS server, I want to know what does everyone here uses, so I can start making one.

If linux then what distro and dns server do you guys use?

I use bind on suse/opensuse linux servers.

CentOS has a nice interface and works well.

I run it on most my routers - I do not like commandline.
