It acts like a built in hub. The second port does not provide power nor accept power.

Mike, I was looking over the spec sheets. Is the PS2 the only model with the 2nd port? Does the PS5-EXT have a 2nd port as well?

that second port is very handy for servicing equipment when a customer is not around to let you inside....I like it.
