Hi There,

I just recently saw the post regarding the grounding strap that comes with the XR2...

I bought 6 XR2 cards about 3 months ago and they didn't come with this grounding strap.

So now I have 6 cards out in the field without these grounding straps. They are attached to omni-antennas on towers... I'm very concerned about lightning strikes killing the cards.

Can you buy these grounding straps seperately?... I want to pull down all my towers and install these straps.

Is there a way of detecting if these cards have been damaged?...

I was also after some advice regarding lightning arrestors... should I be using one of these on each install:

Any help appreciated!
Cinders.

Hello,

While we do not sell the grounding strap separatly, you can just use a standard wire, and connect it to the top right screw hole and run this to ground.

Thanks,

Mike
