Greetings all,
I've been doing some research on access points that would be good in a university setting. Our parent campus uses Proxims but our campus has a smaller budget so I've been looking at alternatives.
Someone referred me to Ubiquiti and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good solution?
The AP-1000 looked interesting to me but I can't seem to find pricing or even availability on it anywhere. While technically an outdoor access point, the Picostation looked like a good option as well (could easily run power over ethernet to it and push it's antennae down through the ceiling).
