ok so I have a Powerstation 2 at my house running at -70 to -68 connection only about 1 mile and a half away from tower but i only get arouund 250kb/s down and 70 up. if there is anyway to speed this up i would appreciate if told. or if this is right then its fine. my ccq is only 24%.
With a CCQ of a mere 24%, I'm surprised the link is even working. Could be lots of things, so you'll have to narrow the issue. Personally, I'd take teh PS physically to a closer location, or better...several locations and see what happens. That might tell you if your original location has a lot of interference.
If you have a lot of interference at your original location, then any additional tweeks aren't going to be of much help.

well this would be hard to do because it is mounted on a pole about ten to fifteen feet or so above my house. now there is line of sight from just on top of the house but I wanted a better signal but thats all i get. Since I am just a consumer, I will call my ISP and ask them about it
You say its just line of sight from ten or fifteen feet above your house. Can you even see their AP while standing on the ROOF of your house. If not, you don't have a clear path. It might be that while you have visual LOS to their AP from the top of the mast, its not sufficient height.

all is well i called my ISP and we figured it out. the distance slide was too short and i had conservative instead of EWMA. and yes i have visual on top of house. but my connection speed doubled and then more so this thread is solved. :D
