View Full Version : Super slow TX and RX rates, super low Transmit CCQ

I'm configuring a new PS2. I am 35 feet from the AP antenna (and yes, I tried lowering the output power all the way down, and it made no difference). I have 20 CPEs (different brands) located up to a quarter mile away and they all work great off of this same AP. On this PS2, I have 1.0 Mbps TX Rate and 1.0 Mbps RX Rate, and the Transmit CCQ is anywhere between 8% and 1% and throughput is horrible. Any ideas on remedying this? It drops down to these settings almost immediately after any configuration changes to the PS2.
Firmware version: XS2.ar2316.v3.1.1.3498.080725.1324

Hello Mtneer,

Please update the firmware to V3.2.3-RC from http://www.ubnt.com/support/airos.php

Next, change the Rate Algorithm to EWMA (from the advanced tab)

Let me know how that works out.

Thanks,

Mike

I have loaded Firmware version 3.3.2 PS2.ar2316.v3.3.2.4257.090214.1451.bin
and verified that the Rate Algorithm is set to EWMA and have the same results. Any further ideas, or can we assume that this is a bad radio?
