Hi,

Nano has been created with many features, I really like it, but one small thing left on, it would be great if the PoE has a small LED to tell that the PoE or power adapter is at least kind of work, in some case the power adapter is gone faulty and hard for us to go rooftop just to check if either the LED on the unit is light up.

thanks guys,
Budiman

What we carry around is a modular stub with an LED and resistor for a pass/fail test of the injector.

Dear fellow engineers,

yes thats technically that can be done, but ofcourse not very user friendly, yes we can just even use a multitester :) but a simple one small LED would be very simply helpful on the injector modul.

What we carry around is a modular stub with an LED and resistor for a pass/fail test of the injector.

"not very user friendly" ? ? ?

Plugging in a little itty bit piece of plastic into a modular jack...you can't get any more user friendly than that.

OH...ok, for the customer to use. Gotcha.

But still a good thing for the techs.

I was just looking at prices for pigtail adapters. They are about $1 each, so if I need two of them plus a dollar for time and materials to build an in-series LED indicator for $3

power supply -> 6' cable -> 2.1 mm male plug -> female jack -> 8" cable -> LED assy -> 8" cable -> male plug

I would like to also recommend future POE's have a small led in them, this makes troubleshooting easier when access to a roof or tower is inaccessable due to weather, it's a small change that would have a big impact!. Thank for listening

How about a black sharpie and just leave a small hole showing so a small amount of light will show.
