First off I would like to start by saying how much success i have had with the Ubiquiti NS2. I am in the military and on deployment in the desert at the moment and the NS2 has enabled many of us to stay in touch with loved ones while away for the holidays. We have an existing wireless network out here for the troops to use but its is separate from the military network and is very slow along with having very limited coverage on the base. Using the NS2 i was able to set it up as a bridge and hardwire it to a switch inside of our building to provide to a link to the outside world on our personal computers.

As some of you may know DoD limits our access to many things on the internet such as personal email site and the ability to do video chat of any sort so our only way of communicating at times involves wondering around base for hours at a time trying to get a usable wifi signal... but that problem is no longer using Ubiquiti. :D

Now second. I would like to further expand the wireless network here around our camp for inside and outside use. I have been looking into the following setup:

-RouterStation with dual 2.4ghz cards. one to receive the existing signal and the other to re-transmit and boost the signal to the surrounding outside area.

-Either a few 2.4ghz Bullets or PicoStations wired into the RouterStation acting as bridges to provide wireless inside of our building. The only reason for putting some inside is that our buildings are large and made out of steel and some parts are shielded. Plus we could get rid of all the ethernet wires and switches we have setup at the moment.

Now being new to the UBNT world im sure that most of you have a little more time working with some of the products... so i guess what i am getting at is what would you suggest for this type setup? Any inputs will be much appreciated. I plan to get most of the equipment in the next month or two and have everything in place by march when i come back out. Thanks. :D
