Vista 64 Bit Support SRX

I just now ordered a Ubiquiti SRX 300mW 802.11G/B/A Wireless Card for Express Card Slot from Data Alliance for my HP Pavillion DV5 Series Entertainment notebook running on Vista64 bit Home Premium BEFORE reading entries in this forum,

Having read some of the horror stories, should I return my order? Please, help guide me through this. Are there any drivers for VISTA 64bit?

Hello Yk,

I do apologize but at this time we do not have drivers for 64bit Vista. You can order the SR71X card, as this will ship with Vista 64 support and will do A/B/G also.

Hi, I'm trying to buy an sr71x from USA 'cos there are some problems to find it in Italy and europe too; my question is if sr71x is working fine with vista 32 and sun solaris.

I recieved my SR71-x PCIe card yesterday, the bundled driver executable runs fine on 64, however, the card is not picked up by my 64 bit OS. Any ideas?

The skype attendant ignored me when I asked this question.

I now have a $135 card that does not work.

I am at a loss.

problem solved.

I manually added the device specifying Ubiquiti SR71C ver 02, and selected the driver here:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ubnt_athrx.sys

When the bundled driver executable installs the driver, it does not leave a copy in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubiquiti Networks, Inc\Ubiquiti SR71 Series 802.11n Wireless Device Drivers folder.

As windows does not see the device as a SR71X, just use the SR71C ver 02, and manually select the file.
