The PowerStation5 has a 40 MHz turbo mode and http://ubnt.com/downloads/ps2_datasheet.pdf states that the PS2 supports 40 MHz channels.

However, there is no 40 MHz option in the web interface?
Why not? Can it be fixed?

I only have experience with PS5's, but my guess would be to try different countries settings, depending on the version of Firmware you have installed.

Hello Ron,

Only 3rd party software can be used with PS2 and 40Mhz. The hardware supports it, but the software does not.

Thanks,

Mike

I would think the amount of work involved in adding that feature to the firmware, especially since you already have it in the PS5, is pretty small. Does UBNT not believe it to be important?

Hello,

Unfortunately it is not that small of a task due to bugs in the Atheros software. There is a reason a lot of manufacturers do not have Turbo support for 2Ghz. Not to mention turbo 40mhz in 2.4Ghz is illegal in most countries.

Thanks,

Mike

2.4 GHz turbo works fine with Mikrotik and XR2s. Hopefully one day I'll be able to use PS2s.
