Hello,

We want to install two PS5 radios on the same pole in 5GHZ(unlicensed) band. I want to know the following:

> In which polarisation mode does PS5 radios work? does it work in vertical/horizontal or both?

> how can i install two PS5 radios on the same pole in 5GHZ without causing interference to each other? Pls suggest .

>Does some spacing between the two radios can minimise the inteference? if yes , what it can be?

Thanks,
Gaurav

Hello Guarav,

The PS5 works in Vertical polarization only.

To install two PS5's on the same pole you will need to select channels that are at least 20Mhz apart.

You will need at least 6" of spacing in between the PowerStations. As long as they are operating on separate channels you should not have an issues.

Thanks,

Mike

Hello Mike,

Thanks for your response. We are using 5GHZ band(unlicensed) in india . I am attaching here the image of roof top where we need to install PS5 radios on all 8 poles.

Can you pls help me here in suggesting how can i install PS5 radios on these 8 poles without causing interference to each other?

Since in the unlicensed band i have 50Mhz only, so i can maximum use 5 channels each of 10 mhz band, moreover ps5 uses vertical polarisation only as u mentioned in ur reply), therefore i am not able to plan how can i install PS5 radios on these 8 poles without causing interference to each other?
Pls help me planning the PS5 radios on these 8 poles.

Thanks,
Gaurav

Your picture is not the easiest to locate, and its a massive BMP file (90% was white space anyway). I took the liberty of helping ya out with a better image link and smaller PNG file. Still, the image wasn't that clear in the first place.

Whats the usable frequency range you have?

Thanks,
