We have three towers at one of our networks in Arkansas using 3 each of 2.4 and 5 GHz radios on each tower (Strix - we also deploy mesh networks). We are considering switching to all 5 GHz since we are focused on business class voice/data. We currently backhaul between towers using 5 GHz and have discussed consider replacing that with the XR3. Each tower is about 2 miles apart. Does anyone have any good advice for this scenario? We are licensed for the WiMax 3.65 GHz but in this PtP situation this seems to make sense. We are considering similar re-engineering in other states as well. By the way, we are new to Ubiquiti and have had great success with the NS2 and NS5. Great stuff. Goodbye Tranzeo. We are now considering how we can implement more of Ubiquiti products.
