Inconsistant throughput

I have two Nanostation2 in WDS mode. They are separated by approx 200 yards. The signal strength is a constant -35 to -38. I am using all the default values at this time.
My problem is TX and RX throughput. Sometimes its 9M, but most of the time is less than 1M and seems to run very slow. The transmit CCQ is always very low at 10% or less.

Are there any parmeters I am missing to improve on the quality?

Hello,

Please do the following:

- Upgrade to V3.2.3-RC of the firmware

- Under the advanced tab, select EWMA as the rate algorithm

- Change the ACK timing to static (uncheck auto)

- Set your tx power 5 to 10dB lower on each end.

Ok, everything changed as requested. So, far it looks really good. I will watch it the next few days and see if it holds up.

One question, on the ACK timeout. I uncheck auto, so the value is set to 24. Is this what you wanted ?

Hello Thelangs,

Make sure the ACK is set to the distance that you are at. If it is below the minimum set it to 21.
