Hm, I'm not sure these units actually support CDP. Maybe 1382 meant STP, or "Spanning Tree Protocol", which can be un-checked under the "Network"-tab.

Ok, then are you sure the CDP-packets aren't being bridged from the switch at the other end of the link? On Cisco-gear, the interface-command "no cdp enable" usually shuts it off on the interface. If you don't have administrative rights on that switch, there might be a way to filter those packets, but I wouldn't bother. :-)
