Mike,
I was just told by one of your resellers that the LSX is no more. Is this true? If so, is there any way to get 900MHz using the AIR OS?

Hey Guys,

The LSX is now the LS-SR71 bored. For now, with AirOS, it will only support the SR71 cards.

I believe Sebastian has ported the software already for this if you want to use our legacy cards with this platform.

Thanks,

Mike

Is the SuperRange9 considered a Legacy Card? Is their a 900MHz card that will work with it?

Sash,
That's great news for me! Is there anything special that needs to be done for the two to work together? Will the AirOS work on it?

Humm, I looked up what ddwrt was and answered my own question. This is very important to me and the project that I'm expected to complete, so any and all help is appreciated.
I need a 900MHz wireless card that is no larger in physical size than the LS2 board and has a very user friendly GUI. So If I am understanding everything correctly; I can use the 900MHz mini-pci radio board with the LS-SR71 but I need to load the DD-WRT OS firmware on it in order to make it work. Is that a correct assuption?
thanks,
Geo

Mike,
Thanks for the quick reply!
One follow up item..Do you a forum or other link to information on how to go about uploading the DDWRT firmware to the card?
Thanks,

Hello Geo,

If you visit www.dd-wrt.com they have a forum with this information.

Thank you,

installation is pretty simple like for other ubnt products. push the reset button, plugin the power, hold the reset button for 10 seconds. then use tftp -i 192.168.1.20 firmware.bin to upload the new firmware to the router. it will flash then itself for some minutes (takes about 40 seconds on the lsx)

if you have troubles, just contact me directly with email. my firmware port is based on a LSX board i got in february this year. so i hope it hasnt changed. but its not a big deal to make changes if required
