NS2 (AP Mode) <---about 1 mile very CLOS link---> NS2 (St. Mode)

After random >10 hours of uptime, my NS2 AP throughput has been reduce greatly from about 5Mbps-6Mbps to only 100kbps-300kbps, I should reboot it to regain troughput.

Any solution for the problem?
Or can I add schedule for the radio to reboot itself?

Thanks,
Dany.

Hello Danny,

What version of the software are you using and can you post your config files.

Thanks,

Mike

Hello,

Can you turn AutoACK off and set the ACK timing to 110% of your actual distance?

Thanks,

Mike

Tried that for the ST. Mode side, not helping at all, infact whatever setting I've applied to the ST. side, the same error happend.

I'll try the ACK setting for the AP side, I'll let you know if it solved the problem.

Thanks Mike.

When setting the ACK for the AP, make sure its set to 110% of the distance of the FARTHEST unit.

Thanks,

Mike

Great signal, good CCQ, yet very low throughput.
I don't think ACK Timeout setting is the problem, interference from boosted radio is my main suspect, tried all channel without success.

Thank's anyway.

Hello,

Can you go to the Advanced tab and set the Rate Algorithm to EWMA?

Thanks,

Mike

for info: I added a 24db Grid antenna on ST side.

Should I add a Grid on AP side as well?
BTW, I've changed to EWMA. but I can't change the ST side, because I cant access the web interface of the radio.
