Has anyone extensively tested the reliability of the N connectors to actually keep moisture out?
It's not in my best interest to deploy them without tape quite yet....
Please let me know if anyone has any feedback on it.

The Bullets hasn't been out long enough to really answer that question...as in long term over six months. I've already taken mine apart (as expected) and the sealing "O" rings appear very capable of water proofing. I know for a fact it will be water proof if you take it through a car wash.
Never the less, I personally would still tape it as a matter of good practice.

Hey Guys,
I tested that N-Type connector and has been very robust so far in rain conditions (simunlated of course). Also has survived a few submergings in water (dropping it into water for 10 seconds on accident) without losing signal or the unit going out.
Thanks,
Mike

Sounds like someone stuck the Bullet in their shirt pocket and bent over to fill the dog's water bowl. heh heh heh
