HI again,

Seems I can't troubleshoot a problem here. I have 2 NS5's one is setup as AP WDS the other as station WDS. From the AP side and i can login into the AP, I can see the bridged connection to the Station. From the remote side i can log into the station and log into the AP. Any thoughts? I still have internet on the remote end...

Alright i'm leaving this until i get a reply...

So i power cycled the AP and as soon as it came back up within a few seconds i logged into the Station WDS. Left it for a few minutes and went back to try logging into the Station... IE cannott display page...
I can ping it, i can see it, but i can't log into it. This isnt because of WDS mode right?

If you can ping it, yer connected o tit. Hit the F5 key on yer keyboard while in IE. See if that fixes it.

Do you have "Enable Client Isolation:" checked ?

IF so, ... try with "Enable Client Isolation:" un-checked.

what if you use discovery utility?

its appear?

are u using same network block in brdged network to managed radios? if so, must be ip conflict?

Yes the client isolation is unchecked.

No I can't see it in discovery tool.

I don't understand
"are u using same network block in brdged network to managed radios? if so, must be ip conflict?"

I have no ip conflicts.

Setup as
gateway 1.1 > unmanaged switch(only has 1 pc) > AP WPS 1.20 > Station WPS 1.21 > dlink WAN 1.100 > dlink LAN 2.xx with dhcp server on running wireless to laptop.

Have internet. I can log in from the remote side to the AP. But from the AP side i can't see the Station... messed up... going to sleep on it... i went through the GUI again and everything is the same, made a change to security and went with WPA2. I should mention that these two radios are being tested in my work area, and basically sitting 3 feet apart facing each other (can't see that being an issue tho).

Gooszer...

If you can ping it, but not see it with the discovery tool...something isn't right.

being that i only have one link, i'm just going to go back to factory defaults on the station... i'll let you know how it turns out. thanks for the ideas people

DMZ still an option... even in AP mode.... just check "Network" tab... if you´re using the router mode DMZ will be there.

k after reset, and set it all back up, everything is running fine. I found i was using the DHCP setting on the wireless router to get internet. changed it to static and seems that everything is working peachy. I am still using the wan port on the router

so after it got all setup again and it worked for a day it happened again.... i still understand it myself. however I added the station side WLAN MAC in to the APs list of WDS Peers. I also added the DNS to both the station and AP under the networking. as of now 24 hours it's working from both ends.
