Can someone help me with the best setup for a non line of site, 500ft bridge. I want to get basic internet an e-mail to a second building through 500ft of pine forest. Would 2 PS2s be overkill? I can't find any info on your site as to the best uses for the individual products.
I currently have wireless throughout my main house using a linksys n router.

A pair of PS2 radio sburnign through 500 feet of pine trees is not at all overkill.

Thanks WHT.
My follow up is - if it's not overkill, will it work?
I've already bought quite a few so called range extenders, antennas etc based on promises from the manufacturers and to date nothing has got through the trees. I can't buy the product locally and have to deal with on line resellers who, if they take the product back, charge restocking fees and their inflated shipping fees, so I'd like to know the probability of success before going into another lengthy and frustrating trial.

I don't have any experience with pine trees..I'll let someone else chime in here.

I just wanted to chime in and let you know that I currently have a 1150 foot wireless link through about 50% dense tree coverage (though not pine), and it works pretty well (~10Mbps throughput), so you should be able to penetrate the pine trees without any problem. Forget those range extenders, this stuff is the real deal. I am using 500mW transmitters with 14 dBi directional antennas.
