Can the firmware listed under the powerstation2 for OpenWrt be used on the nanostation2?

Yes, you just need to re-pack it with fwsplit and mkfwimage to make it NS2 instead of PS2.
Example:
./fwsplit PS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09.bin
Firmware file: '/tmp/PS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09.bin'
Firmware version: 'PS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09'
Creating descriptor file:
PS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09.txt
Creating partition data files:
PS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09.kernel
PS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09.rootfs
./mkfwimage -i PS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09.txt -v NS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09 -o NS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09.bin
Firmware version: 'NS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09'
Output file: 'NS2.ar2316.OpenWRT-kamikaze.v7.09.bin'
Part count: 2
kernel: 786432 bytes (free: 65536)
rootfs: 1703936 bytes (free: 1179648)
But only one antenna will work (External only, if I not mixed with Vertical)

So, if you flash the NS2 to another firmware, the internal antennas won't work and you'll only have whatever external antennas available to radio?
Is Ubiquiti perhaps working on a binary that will make the internal antennas work? I'm guessing that you'd have to do a binary since your auto-polarity switching seems to be a proprietary technique.

just wondering if any one actually Has the split files, I'm totally new, But I could relay use a freeware OS that will work with a radius server... any one know if OpenWRT will do it? I'd like to use an NS2 as an AP in a few situations and also have NS2's on the CPE side. I'm using an external Omni
