Hi Guys
I got some LS2 boards as replacements for some PS2s that had a blown
LAN port ..Thanks Mike :)
To make them fit into the PS2 cases I had to cut off the
circular power plug on the boards
the new LS2s seem to extend just a tad bit farther than the old PS2 ones did and therefore wouldnt line up to use the existing PS2 standoff points
Anyways they power up fine connect to the AP, pass traffic ect..
But I cant find any antenna selection option on them in the gui its gone
I thought perhaps I damaged some antenna power feed by doing what I did but even a brand new bare board running standard air os 2.2.1 or even upgrading it to 3.2.2 Rc still doesnt show the vert or hrz options
What am I missing guys
Thanks Much

Hi there
I have an LS2 from the year 2006 with 2 antenna connectors.
I was digging inside and discover ubntbox is the cause for not having the antenna selection feature enabled on web-gui.
Is it possible to have ubntbox changed by ourselfs? like giving us the source code or something?...
Thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately we do not release the source files for Ubntbox.
Thanks,
Mike

So, what would be the plan to allow selection of second antenna on the web-gui?... edit board.info every time??

So I am going to raise this thread from the dead.
I have/had a PS2-EXT that I ripped apart to put in a different enclosure (honestly, I hated where the antenna connectors were on the PS2-EXT case)
Inside was a LiteStation2 -- it doesn't have the DB9 serial port or the DC jack, but it is a LiteStation2 (stamped on the bottom).
It has two MMCX connectors and the PS2 firmware gives me antenna selection.
Now fast-forward to yesterday... I was over talking with my reseller and was helping him program up some LS2s for a project. Two MMCX connectors, DB9 serial port, and DC power jack... but the LiteStation firmware I downloaded while I was there does not allow for antenna selection. I was tempted to upload the PS2 firmware to it, but we needed all three and I didn't want to brick one by mistake.
Can anyone confirm if the PS2 firmware can be loaded on a LS2? Or why is it that the LS2 doesn't allow for antenna selection? There seems to be a lot of differences between production lines. From the docs that shipped with the LS2s, there should have only been one MMCX connector... Might want to get that fixed.

Hello,
LiteStation 2 was never supposed to have 2 MMCX connectors. What you are seeing is a batch of units that were released from the factory accidently with PS2 specs. However they still have the subsystem ID of LS2 so any firmware you attempt to load will see this and lock out any kind of antenna selection. Also please note those units were EEPROM calibrated to only have the one antenna port active.
Thanks,
Mike
