We require an implementation of RIP2 and OSPF for our deployments.
DD-WRT uses BIRD (http://bird.network.cz/)
TIER uses Quagga (http://www.quagga.net/)
Both provide RIP2 and OSPF
When can we see an implementation (either of the above projects would work fine) in AirOS?

Hi,
I'm also interested in having this feature included. As Quagga is open source project, it should be possible to include it in AirOS. Unfurtunatelly I don't have the skills to do it myself with the SDK.
Regards.

Hi,
mostly dd-wrt has bird. On request we can give quagga as well.
But quagga is big!

Quagga isn't *that* big:
XM.v5.1.plus.19137# ls -l /usr/bin/ospfd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 ubnt admin 7736 Jan 30 15:36 /usr/bin/ospfd
XM.v5.1.plus.19137# ls -l /usr/bin/zebra
-rwxr-xr-x 1 ubnt admin 197860 Jan 30 15:36 /usr/bin/zebra

I would also love to see ospf on ubnt devices.
Our local wireless user group in our city, which has over 400 nodes, use mikrotik in 90% of our installs as we run ospf on our network. Many of us would rather purchase and use ubnt devices than mikrotik, but since we all do this as one of our hobbies, we haven't gotten round to even trying to put quagga on any devices. Many of us don't have linux experiance to try build quagga into our ubnt firmware package.
We would like ospf supprt built into ubnt devices and supported by ubnt. Using mikrotik routing with ubnt as the wireless link is not suitable, as ospf on the mikrotik device doesn't get informed when the ubnt link goes down.

search for airos-plus, it is a patch to the original firmware that features ospf
